TESTIMONIALS
Meeting Debbi was one of the unexpected highlights from the TEDx experience for me. I met her at the speakers’ dinner, where I was attending as my husband’s plus-one, and within minutes I found myself completely drawn in by her passion, authenticity, and conviction. She doesn’t just tell a story, she lives it. Our conversation alone inspired me to buy her book on Audible before the evening had even ended.
What impressed me even more was seeing her deliver the same message to completely different audiences. I watched her speak to learners from underserved South African schools at a youth empowerment event, and then later to a room full of adults at TEDx. The response was the same: people were engaged, inspired, and left believing they were capable of more. Debbi has a rare gift for taking her own journey and turning it into practical wisdom that anyone can apply, regardless of where they come from or what goals they’re pursuing.
Her message stays with you long after she’s finished speaking, because it comes from a place of genuine belief and lived experience.

My introduction to Debbi DiMaggio was magical. From the first moment it felt as if we had known each other for many years. Despite the hectic schedule, Debbi was always talking to people, learning as much as she could about Port Elizabeth and South Africa at large and the diverse cultures.
I was drawn to Debbí’s story of how a family vacation in St Barth, became a moment of realisation for her when her son told her he was going to join the Marines. She explained how her life had changed as she tested her own resilience by challenging herself. She began running and entered several races including a full marathon, achieving much success in her life.
Watching her deliver her story with great passion, I witnessed a woman, addressing the audience with much brevity, educating them about challenging their own spaces. I saw a moment of vulnerability as she shed a quiet tear while delivering her speech, celebrating her birthday far away from home. The audience resonated with her experience and rewarded with a standing ovation.
I am proud of you, Debbi Dimaggio, and thank you for your friendship!

“Your TEDx talk was one of the most memorable presentations of the day for one simple reason: your complete vulnerability. Your message about the power of mindset shows how achieving something you never thought was possible could become possible by simply believing your goal has already been achieved.
What stood out most was your willingness to be vulnerable. From sharing the emotional story of your son signing up for the O. C. S. and how it challenged the future you had imagined for him. To the ankle brace meant for your ankle that you held in your hand all the way from mile 18 to the finish at 26.2. My applause for putting it out there. These stories are the glimpses that showcase how challenges can be overcome and puts power to your message.
To anyone who has run a marathon, I am in awe. To you that ran a marathon without so many of the common practice routines that we adopt is, dare I say, mad! But you did it, and you proved it can be done. Your stories perfectly illustrates that our greatest limits are often the ones we place on ourselves.
As a fellow marathon runner and TEDx speaker, your talk resonated with me on many levels. Thank you for sharing your story with such honesty and courage. You didn't just talk about resilience - you demonstrated it.”

I cannot thank Debbi DiMaggio and Mindset in Motion enough for the incredible impact they have had on my life. Debbi has helped me activate an inner inspiration that I didn't fully realize was there. Through her guidance and encouragement, I've developed a stronger work ethic, a clearer sense of purpose, and the determination to show up every single day committed to reaching my fullest potential.
She has taught me the importance of maximizing every moment, embracing challenges, and striving to become the best version of myself.
One of the greatest lessons I've learned from Debbi is to stop being afraid of taking risks. Growth happens outside of our comfort zones, and because of her, I now approach opportunities with confidence and a mindset focused on possibility rather than fear.
The positive changes I've experienced extend far beyond my professional life—they've transformed the way I think, work, and live. Debbi has helped me in ways that I can hardly put into words, and I will always be grateful for her unwavering belief in me and her ability to inspire others to see the greatness within themselves.
Thank you, Debbi, for helping me unlock my potential and for reminding me that every day is an opportunity to become stronger, wiser, and better than I was yesterday. Your guidance has been truly life-changing, and I cannot express my gratitude

Debbi DiMaggio is a force of nature. She’s someone who believes that ideas become meaningful when they’re put into action.
In her latest book Mindset In Motion, she shares her process for activating potential. Through the mindset of elite athletes, Debbi teaches readers how to prepare with intention, take consistent action, adapt when life changes the game, and keep moving toward their goals with confidence and discipline.
I have firsthand seen the impact of her method. It is truly remarkable what we’re able to achieve once we’re activated.
This isn’t just a book about success—it’s a book about becoming the kind of person who creates it.

Debbi DiMaggio chose the word “activation,” and I can’t think of a better word to describe her.
I was feeling incredibly stuck when my book coach, Ellie, told me to reach out to Debbi and ask for her help getting unstuck. During our phone call, Debbie told me about her book—which I immediately bought—and gave me about 20 different ideas, leads, people to contact, concepts, and mindset shifts to explore.
For the next two months, I followed up on every single idea and lead she gave me. And through those avenues, I’ve had multiple major wins.
I started working with Randy Thomas, the live voiceover announcer for ABC News, Nightline, and the Oscars. I made two huge sales for my business, Conversational English Pro. And I booked a keynote and workshop for Manhattan School of Music that was so successful, they are bring me back to New York and connecting me with other schools because they found what I offered so valuable.
I am incredibly grateful to Debbi for her wisdom, her guidance, and her “nothing is going to stop me” attitude. She helped activate something in me when I needed it most—and I’m also incredibly grateful for her fantastic book.

“A good friend of mine is fond of saying that 'Success doesn’t leave clues…it leaves billboards.’
Well, all I can say is that this book is filled to the brim with billboards regarding how to succeed at whatever we desire. The author, a top-producing real estate broker, has also succeeded wildly in a number of other arenas including completing the Los Angeles Marathon by training primarily in her mind.
Yes, that would seem almost beyond reason. But there IS a reason: a clear methodology she calls 'The Five-Step Framework.'
She walks us through this framework in detail, so that if we plug into it and follow her advice, we almost cannot possibly fail. Whether you are just beginning your success journey or are a seasoned veteran who has accomplished much but knows there is a whole other level waiting to be claimed, this is the book for you! It would also make a fantastic gift for anyone in your life you’d like to give an almost unfair advantage. Debbi DiMaggio, like her book, is a winner.
Of course, what else would one expect from a relative of Joe, Dominic, and Vince!"

WHAT THEY SAY“
Debbi doesn't just speak — she activates. Our entire leadership team left her keynote with a completely different understanding of what momentum means in business. The follow-through we saw in the months after was extraordinary.

“
We brought Debbi in for our women's leadership summit and she was the unanimous highlight. Her story, her presence, and her framework for reinvention gave our attendees tools they are still using. We've booked her twice more since.
